35 mm film scan (NTSC) - A theatrical print scan of the US theatrical version for nostalgic fans who'd like to watch the movie with its imperfections (grain & scratches) as presented in theaters back in 1982. No digital cleanup has been done to either video or audio.
CBS broadcast version (NTSC) - The 1986 broadcast television premiere that was edited for profanity, nudity, and graphic violence. It's notable for an alternate opening crawl read by an unknown narrator. This is 2nd or 3rd generation copy of a VHS recording.
White Dragon Cut 4.0 (NTSC) - An ambitious fan version based on the final shooting script. It recreates unfilmed scenes (Zhora's dance, Leon on the ceiling & frozen Chew), includes all deleted scenes, and adds new visual effects. Bladezone called it “exactly the type of version I would love to have seen.”
This 3 DVD set comes with cover but no disc label artwork (DVDs are silver surface high quality Verbatim media with handmarked titles). DVDs are in NTSC (US) video standard so before purchasing make sure your DVD player and TV can play NTSC. PC / Mac computers can play it with a free VLC Player app.
